Culpepper on the Block!?

Currently, this news is nothing more than a rumor, but the sources seem to be fairy reliable. It would be amazing to see Culpepper take such a big fall in such a short period of time. Just one season ago the Vikings QB was a top fantasy performer and an NFL MVP candidate, now he is trade bait that doesn't even call for a No. 1 draft pick. Whatever team Culpepper lands on should feel a positive fantasy impact, if you take the 2005 season as an aberration. Again, don't be surprised if he is reunited with Randy Moss in Oakland. The two were a lethal fantasy combination in their days together in Minn. The numbers that the two could put up in the Raiders downfield passing attack could bring both back to being top-notch fantasy performers as opposed to the 2005 season in which they were both considered fantasy busts. It will be very interesting to see how this story develops and we plan on following it very closely.

Was the fixx in?????

The Pittsburgh Steelers were crowned NFL Champions of the 2005-06 season as they defeated the Seattle Seahawks 21-10 in Detroit. But did the referees have more impact on the game than they should have? Some very questionable calls by the zebras cost the Seahawks at very critical junctures of the game and definitely affected the outcome of the game. Will this Super Bowl go down as one that was NOT decided by the players on the field, but by the referees making the calls? I think a lot of us are still shaking our heads on how a blocking penalty can be called againt a player making a tackle. Oh well, the Steelers still have the trophy and nobody can take that away from them.

E. James days as a Colt numbered?

The report came out today that 'Edge' thinks he's really not in the Colts plans for next season, since the Colts have only mentioned re-signing Reggie Wayne and extending the contract of Dwight Freeney. If this is the case, it could mean big things for Domanick Rhodes fantasy value, as he will be the guy to step into James starting role in the offense. You're also going to have to keep your eye on the Colts drafting a young RB in the draft this year, since they may not see Rhodes as their long-term solution at the RB position.
