Free Agency Frenzy

Free agency in 2006 has been moving at a frantic pace. Many impact players, like Edgerring James are moving to different teams, while others, like Shaun Alexander are sticking with their original teams. This movement can have a ton of impact in the fantasy world. Players who weren't stud fantasy players could move into a situation where they're fantasy potential has a higher ceiling. Players such as Jon Kitna and Chester Taylor will have greater value in 2006 than they ever had and you're going to have to pay attention to them as you head into your draft. Keep up with all key player movement at our site right here:

Raiders or Fins, who will get Daunte?

It seems like the Vikings are on the verge of trading QB Daunte Culpepper to either the Raiders or the Dolphins. Huddlegeeks was one of the first publications to mention this possibility back at the end of the regular season and it's seems like it may come to fruition. It seems like Culpepper would be a great fit on the Raiders, where they love the long ball and he could be reunited with WR Randy Moss. We know that the two have had their differences, but we think, if they are reunited, they will again be one of the top WR-QB duos in fantasy football.

NFL Gets it Done!

The NFL owners and player have finally come to an agreement on a new six-year collective bargaining agreement and we think all football fans out there had to breathe a pretty big sigh of relief. We don't think anybody out there wanted to see the NFL turn into an uncapped league, like baseball, where players don't earn their keep and only a select few teams are able to compete. Here's to the NFL - America's Game!

Alexander staying in Seattle

It's now clear that Shaun Alexander will remain a top three fantasy back after news came out that he re-signed with the Seahawks for eight more years! With Alexander running behind one of the best offensive lines in football, he should continue to post fantastic fantasy numbers and be one of the top players chosen in 2006 fantasy drafts.
